All Ages, Races & Genders Wanted

VISIT PHILADELPHIA®, responsible for driving visitation to the five-county region, is on the search for real-life Philadelphians to model in upcoming photo and video shoots. The tourism-marketing agency will use the resulting images to promote Philadelphia in advertising, on its websites (visitphilly.com and uwishunu.com) and social media channels, in visitor guides and in other marketing materials.
WHO: VISIT PHILADELPHIA is looking for all ages, races and genders, and they encourage people to apply as singles or in groups: couples, families and friends. If models know the people they’re being photographed with, they’re more comfortable, and the images benefit.
WHEN: Most photo shoots will take place in summer and fall, but the shooting season does extend into the winter and beyond. Shoots run about two-hours long.
WHERE: If it’s a place that visitors would enjoy, it’s a place VISIT PHILADELPHIA could potentially photograph. That means attractions, restaurants, shops and streets throughout the Philadelphia five-county region.
WHY: It’s fun. It’s a bonding experience for family and friends. And it’s a paid opportunity.
HOW: Those interested in applying can send two to four photos of themselves to photos@visitphilly.com. They should include the following information in their email for all those featured in the photographs: name, address, phone number, email address, age, height and best days and times for availability.
VISIT PHILADELPHIA® is our name and our mission. As the region’s official tourism marketing agency, we build Greater Philadelphia’s image, drive visitation and boost the economy.
On Greater Philadelphia’s official visitor website and blog, visitphilly.com and uwishunu.com, visitors can explore things to do, upcoming events, themed itineraries and hotel packages. Compelling photography and videos, interactive maps and detailed visitor information make the sites effective trip-planning tools. Along with Visit Philly social media channels, the online platforms communicate directly with consumers. Travelers can also call and stop into the Independence Visitor Center for additional information and tickets.
