Campus Philly to host fourth annual Online Internship Fair fromrnMarch 15th through March 26thrnrnPhiladelphia, March 15, 2010—Campus Philly will host its fourth annual Online Internship Fair—a two-week, online talent recruitment forum. From March 15th through March 26th, Campus Philly will invite employers to recruit regional talent for internship opportunities free of charge. Students are encouraged to upload their resume on to the site and search the hundreds of listings.rnrn“Internships provide necessary skills and offer first-hand work experience to college students who are either sure of their career paths or who may still be choosing a major,” said Mayor Michael Nutter, Honorary Board Chair of Campus Philly. “Campus Philly offers incredible options and access for student looking for an internship. The Fair is also a crucial resource for employers who are looking for talented interns.”rnrnBeginning on Monday, March 15th, students can upload their resume onto the CampusPhilly.org/careers website. After uploading their resume, students can search by job categories, industries, pay preference, hours, and other categories to find an internship that best suits their lifestyle and needs. Employers can register and submit job postings or recruit for internship candidates on the site.rnrnThe fourth annual Online Internship Fair provides increased access and utilizes electronic media to offer students internship opportunities. In the current economy, on-the-job training is an increasingly necessary item on the resume of recent graduates.
