The City’s ticket policy is the first time distribution of Mayor’s Box tickets has been governed by a written, public policy. It provides for the equitable distribution of complimentary tickets received by the City of Philadelphia.rnrnSome report highlights are as follows:rno rno During the third quarter of 2010, 243 tickets were distributed to Philadelphia charter, parochial and private high school students who received straight A’s or had perfect attendance during the second marking period of 2010.rno During the third quarter of 2010, 228 Mayor’s Box tickets were distributed to children from recreation centers, nonprofits and other groups who attended Wachovia Center, Citizens BankrnrnPark, Lincoln Financial Field, The Dell and Mann Center events.rno rno In total, 743 tickets (46%) were distributed to non-City related entities.rno rno 85% of all available tickets were distributed.rno rno From January, 2010 through September, 2010, over 4,000 tickets have been distributed. 2,116 (53%) have been distributed to schools, nonprofits, recreation centers and other groups.
